He has lost ALOT of his comedic swagger...
This has been the 3rd time we have seen Dane Cook LIVE in the DMV, with the last two times being awesome. But this most recent time at the Hippodrome in Baltimore (Sept 2019) was not good at all. His jokes weren't as funny, his joke setups were WAY TOO LONG, and he felt the need to pick on audience members half way through his set...almost like he ran outta' material?!??!
My wife and I do not intend on seeing him again. It was a good date night for us, just wish we would have seen someone else since he has lost a lot of his comedic swagger from the days of him booking the Verizon/Cap One Center in DC. I think it's time for Dane Cook to hang it up and start enjoy retirement and his college-aged girlfriend. He said that he's being doing comedy for 29 years now - but much like athletes too, they need to know when to hang in up!
